What will you do?
A day in the life of a Product Line Coordinator, Equipment at The North Face looks a little like this,
As part of The North Face global category management team for Apparel and Equipment, the product line coordinator owns the creation, maintenance and analysis of the product database for the category. Responsibilities include coordination of all communications, system related reporting with extensive use of excel as well as managing and organizing samples and product plans. The PLC is a self-motivated person who builds, coordinates and communicates information and process as necessary to convey to internal/external stakeholders and consumers. The PLC is responsible for aiding in the management of the product planning process, the line plans, certain development information and production information for respective product categories with a very close attention to detail. The PLC is also responsible for initiating, developing and maintaining data communication specifically with Master Data, sales and marketing. They work with assigned category team to help coordinate data and information which helps determine new product and consumer needs, price points, and strategic developments. The PLC is expected to help champion a product's introduction from conception through go to market launch and acts as the communication liaison on all details pertaining to the product line. They may aid in performing consumer and competitor analysis for the respective category.
+ Builds, maintains and distributes all data and information of assigned product category encompassing line lists, data in Excel and PLM, hangtags, workbooks, visual line plans, product grids, assortment pages and Ecommerce data.
+ Build, maintains and distributes annual and seasonal calendars, ensuring all team and brand deadlines are being met by assigned category team.
+ Build, distribute and own seasonal product color process and communication between regional merchandising and global design teams.
+ Assists in creating and managing reports for tracking success and failure of products in the marketplace, sell-through, etc.
+ Develops innovative and creative means of communicating product and category information to internal (Product) and external (Marketing, Retail, Sales, Ops) stakeholders
+ Run cross-functional team meetings and ensure that all working parties are on track and clear on expectations and deliverables
+ May aid in researching needs of customers (reps, dealers, customers) and consumers and communicates same to product development process.
+ Helps analyze competitor products, sales programs, and collateral to aid in product line decisions.
+ Orders, organizes, distributes and tracks product samples.
+ Partners with Marketing to disseminate information aiding in the creation of marketing collateral for distribution. i.e., hangtags, packaging, point-of-sale, etc.
+ Coordinates cross functionally to ensure smooth success of product launches

$57,888.00 USD - $72,360.00 USD annually
