Product Design Engineer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Product Design Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA. Youwill lead package integration and architecture efforts, working with internal teams and external partners.

 

Rate Range: $52/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Product Design Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to design and integrate packaging solutions.

• Bringing packaging solutions from concept to high-volume manufacturing (HVM) while driving innovation and industry standards.

• Applying creativity and dynamic thinking to solve complex design challenges and improve hardware performance.

• Working with third-party vendors and OSAT to ensure efficient packaging solutions and production processes.

• Leading efforts to develop and promote advanced package specifications within the industry.

• Quickly learning and adapting to emerging technologies to improve product design and performance.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in product design, packaging integration, or a similar engineering role.

• Strong experience in packaging solutions, from concept to high-volume manufacturing (HVM).

• Proven ability to work with 3rd party vendors and OSAT, driving industry standards and specifications.

Pay Details: $52.00 to $57.00 per hour
