Description

• Permanent position for a Product Applications Engineer to work with customers to develop customized wire and cable product solutions.
• Technical support for pre-sales discussions.
• Develop detailed technical proposals.
• Responsible for business development.
• Manage and oversee execution of projects.
• Responsible for development of long-term customer relationships.
• Responsible for technical customer service and support.
• Manage raw material quotes and orders for new products.
• Provide request for quote responses, technical drawings, presentations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations.
• Responsible for overseeing and meeting all internal deadlines and customer due dates.
• Work as a feedback channel for customers to communicate with company staff.
• Keep management informed of progress and account status.
• Develop and maintain marketing materials and media.
• Coordinate, attend and present at trade shows.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering preferred.
• Experience with product applications development for wire and cable products.
• Experience with technical support for customer applications.
• Experience with project management.
• Experience with providing RFQs, technical drawings, and presentations.
• Some travel is required.
