Major/Essential Functions
- Develop marketing and digital strategies with support from the General Manager and Director of Content.
- Manage station social media accounts.
- Guide all projects through the production process to meet or exceed deadline, budget, quality and distribution requirements.
- Write and edit copy, as well as produce, shoot and edit video for marketing and digital distribution.
- Produces multi-platform branded content and promotional material.
- Design marketing and digital content for distribution.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in public relations and/or advertising strategy. Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media. Understand video/audio preproduction, production, and post production, current social media trends, and current methods of production and storytelling. Design (needs a strong background—from concept to pixel production.) Understanding and implementing NPR/PBS' mission to help educate, inform, and enlighten listeners/viewers.

Occasional Duties
- Attend meetings and is responsible for appropriate record keeping, correspondence, phone calls, supplies and equipment.

Two or more years education or training beyond high school with emphasis on professional video production or related area plus two years experience in a video/multimedia environment; OR a combination of education and/or experience to equal four years.
