About the Job
As a Procurement Buyer II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in our organization's procurement and purchasing activities. You will be accountable for managing and executing procurement projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function. You will report directly to our Procurement Manager, and you will work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company by optimizing procurement practices, enhancing profitability, and securing a reliable and agile supply chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost-effectiveness and quality
+ Manage procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management
+ Monitor and control procurement costs, seek cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation
+ Foster and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
+ Ensure compliance with US government regulations, standards, and internal policies
+ Leverage technology solutions to enhance procurement processes and reporting
Travel, up to 10%, may be expected.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ 3+ years of experience in procurement and project management
+ 1+ years of experience in SAP or MRP systems
+ Ability to write, read and speak English
