Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient production processes to improve productivity and quality. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing our operations and ensuring the successful implementation of new processes and technologies..
Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing production processes to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to implement process improvements and resolve issues.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes and equipment.
• Design and implement equipment modifications to improve performance and reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other data analysis techniques to monitor and control process variables.
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement technologies to streamline production processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in process design and implementation.
• Coordinate and collaborate with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and select equipment and materials for process improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing/production plant.
• Experience collaborating and working with plant/production floor personnel.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM).
