The Process Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for various industrial processes. This role focuses on optimizing system performance, ensuring safety protocols, and improving overall efficiency in production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement control systems for industrial processes.
- Develop and maintain HMI and PLC programs to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create and review P&IDs and SAMA diagrams.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to resolve control issues.
- Prepare and maintain drawing packages and documentation for control systems.
- Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, preferred.
- Proven experience in process controls engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HMI, PLC programming, and control system design.
- Familiarity with SAMA diagrams, P&IDs, and PID drawings.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD for creating and modifying P&ID drawings.
