Monarch Behavioral Health is hiring fully licensed mental health clinicians who are interested in providing quality therapeutic services to clients across Texas. We are looking for licensed clinicians (Psy.D./Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist, LPCs, LPCs, LMFTs, LCSWs, LMSWs), and post-doctoral fellows who desire to be a part of a thriving group practice that offers mentoring, teamwork, self-discovery, and growth as a licensed clinician. We are located in the Stone Oak neighborhood of San Antonio, Texas, and offer in-person and virtual sessions.

MBH clinicians value growth for the clients, and team members, and enhancing and supporting our community. Our W2 positions are fee-for-service and you would be joining our private group practice which opens doors for consultation, training, and learning among colleagues. As a professional clinician, you will be working directly with your ideal client - the client population of your choosing, and a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
Compensation:$45,000 - $70,000 yearly
Responsibilities:What you should know about this employment opportunity:
- Perform on-site clinical counseling services to clients of Monarch Behavioral Health, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Monarch Behavioral Health.
- Abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Monarch Behavioral Health.
- Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within established timeframes whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc.
- Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
- Complete the required documentation. Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents that may be needed or required from time to time by Monarch Behavioral Health or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (72 hours of request).
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient files, records, plans, and reports.
- Communicate and collaborate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
- It is a 30-32 hour work week with 25 of those hours dedicated to clients
- Either 2 evenings 4-7 pm or 1 evening and 1 weekend.

Minimum Required Education & Experience:
- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and
- Active, unrestricted license counseling in the State of Texas (must be fully licensed).
- A copy must be provided to Monarch Behavioral Health.
- Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).
- Willing to consider an associate clinician who is able to obtain licensure in 2 months or a postdoctoral candidate with at least two years of direct client contact.
- Clinical supervision can be provided to doctoral fellows and LPAs.

Work Location:
- Primarily in person, in the office at an assigned Monarch Behavioral Health location
- Telehealth may be provided to meet the needs of specific clients or circumstances
Scheduling Requirements:
- Be available for client sessions work (2) evenings per week or one evening and one weekend (6 hours) per week. Note: Evenings are defined as working until 7:00 pm
- Attend mandatory staff meetings
