Job Title: Flexible – based on experience of candidate and expected contributions to the team
Location:Scottsdale, AZ
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000, plus deal bonuses available

Responsibilities:

Work directly with the CFO and Director of Operations to prepare monthly investment updates for the firm’s partners
Work with the firm’s leadership teams to develop and implement process improvements over time
Assist in review of tax returns of various holding companies and perform research on related issues
Responsible for general accounting functions – journal entries, monthly close and internal financial reporting
Help build more structure and translate financials to a monthly report

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MSA or CPA is a plus
2-3 years in public accounting, investor relations, or SEC reporting role; experience with Big 4 accounting firms strongly preferred
Personal drive and extreme attention-to-detail
Ability to work on-site at the Scottsdale office

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
