Our physician led medical group enjoys an excellent reputation with patients and the medical community, offering primary care, urgent care and more than 30 different specialties. *Job Description* Authorization Coordinators are responsible for obtaining authorizations on all testing appointments. Also responsible for obtaining Insurance Referrals. They are to check the schedules weekly to make sure no new appointments have been added. They contact outside referring offices for authorization information on testing appointments. They obtain authorizations onside referrals as well, example is CTA, CT, MRI, any outside scans. * High school diploma or equivalent required * Minimum one-year experience as a medical receptionist or previous care coordination experience * Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with physicians, clinical and administrative staff, managers, patients and insurance companies We take great care of careers.
