About the Job
Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Principal Systems Automation Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Provide Business application administration and support using enterprise technologies, platforms, and tools, such as Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, and other automation scripting tools.
+ Responsible for administration, support, testing, deployment and documentation of Web-based application systems
+ Maintain and enhance automation scripts and systems to improve operational efficiency.
+ Manage automation tools and frameworks, such as Ansible.
+ Supporting application updates and production releases on multiple IT systems
+ Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
+ Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes and systems.
+ Provide technical support and training to team members on automation tools and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or other related scientific or technical discipline is preferred. Additional 4 years’ experience or industry certifications demonstrating technical proficiency may be substituted for education requirements.
+ 10+ years of Application architecture and systems engineering principles, including services-oriented architecture and best practice application design patterns
+ Minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND, SSCP)
+ DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire
+ Proficiency with scripting languages and related technologies
+ Experience programming in modern languages including JavaScript, Python, C#, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, Angular, or React
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5 years Systems Engineering Experience
+ Strong knowledge and understanding in enterprise applications and technologies
+ Experience delivering microservices in a containerized service model
+ Familiarity with multiple hosting platforms, such as: Windows, Linux, Azure, and Amazon cloud computing platforms
+ Experience using DevOps concepts and tools, such as: GitHub, JIRA, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, and Docker
+ Experience in environments implementing RMF and NIST 800-53 security controls
Security Clearance Requirements:
+ Active Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the past 6 years.
+ Candidates must be open to random Poly.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
+ Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
