Maximus is seeking a Principal Specialist, ITKnowledge Management. In this role, you will process, identify, organize, store and disseminate information within the organization. The Principal Specialist, ITKnowledge Management will be responsible for capturing new knowledge for the organization and integrating it into operations. This is not a project manager role. This position will drive Enterprise Technology integration through transparent processes and priorities. This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Knowledge Management strategy, systems and tools development and governance.
- Design and implement knowledge systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in knowledge management and documentation practices.
- Implement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the project repository.
- Oversee storage and distribution of corporate knowledge within the organization.
- Establish and manage processes and metrics.
- Responsible for coordination of content management and culture of one enterprise technology Knowledge Management approach.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 10+ years of relevant professional experience required.
-Bachelor's Degree and 10 years leadership experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
-6-8 years Technology knowledge manager experience, specifically: creating and championing a scalable strategy for managing team know-how.
-Must have experience designing processes and systems to ensure knowledge flows freely through the organization.
-Experience spearheading knowledge management programs and addressing risks, issues and concerns.
-Executive presence and experience required.
Additional Requirements, as per Contract/Client:
-Experience with SharePoint (create content, admin experience), Jira, SAFe6, and Smartsheet. Planview a plus.
Desired Skills Experience:
-Knowledge Management Certification a plus. CPKM, CKMS

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
