About the Job
The Principal Scientist for gas technologies has responsibility for coordinating consulting projects and technical support for global customers. They will work closely with customers, New Technology / R&D, the Sales Department, and the processing facilities to optimize the review of potential new products for sterilization, advancement of gas sterilization technologies and ongoing technical support for existing products within our facilities.

Major Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers, facilities, operations, and sales for gas sterilization.
- Work with medical and pharmaceutical customers for consulting regarding gas processing of their products during the product's entire life cycle.
- Ensure proper validation of the medical or pharmaceutical products being processed in global gas facilities.
- Mentor Technical Advisors or facility Validation personnel as assigned and help them provide consistent project management, customer service, reports to customers.
- Help ensure compliance with all relevant regulations relating to gas sterilization.
- Coordinate, review, report, publish and present technical data internally, to customers, trade associations and regulators.
- Represent the company working with standard committees.
- Provide technical support in customer and regulatory audits.
- Perform internal and external training in gas processing and sterilization.
- Support R&D and New Technologies in other gas and related sterilization projects.
Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge and minimum five years' experience in gas sterilization processing and applicable regulatory standards
- Strong influencing, leadership, and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication skills on all levels, including ability to communicate complex technical data to non-technical staff.
- Any additional relevant scientific experience
Educational Requirements and Experience
- University Degree in Science field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or other related technical discipline
- 5 years minimum experience in gas sterilization processing and sterility assurance of medical/pharma products
