From determining & delivering next generation processing systems that meet today’s needs while supporting our future innovation/growth pipeline to designing a new plant, Manufacturing Technology is at the forefront ready to meet the business challenges head on.Process Engineering team members are the technical experts responsible for the design, construction, and commissioning/startup of complex process & utility projects across the network.
As part of a larger engineering team consisting of packaging, process, and project management, we work closely with our plant customers, R&D, and Business Units to optimize projects for manufacturing and business needs.
Our goal is to deliver reliable equipment and integrations that exceed startup and safety targets, and help the company grow top and bottom lines.In this role, you will:Manage and lead projects in accordance with Clorox Project Management Standards to achieve required results, timing, and budgetary targets.Provide functional specific technical leadership on evolving capabilities within the industry and insight to project teams on plants’ engineering requirements.Mentor, train, and develop direct and indirect reports.Participate in the continuous improvement efforts of the Corporate and project safety performance by leading the safety programs and driving new initiatives.Ensure projects meet environmental compliance requirements while supporting environmental sustainability goal achievement.What we look for:Engineering Degree (BSME / BSEE / BSChE / IE or equivalent engineering degree)8+ years engineering experience in various functions, to include 2+ experience in Operations, Staff Engineering, and Plant EngineeringExpertise in dry materials and powder handling in addition to liquids processingExperience leading capital projects and capital budget processStrong business acumen, with ability to calibrate with business objectives and meet deadlinesKnowledge of SAP or equivalentFamiliarity with CI / TPM / Lean Manufacturing processes and techniquesProven ability to document and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiencesBackground in CPG environmentMust be willing to travel 50 – 75% to plant and equipment vendor sites as neededWorkplace type:Hybrid: This position will work 3 days in the Alpharetta office and 2 days remotely.We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
