You thrive when leading a team that collaborates as a community and is distributed across the globe.You are passionate about joining our community that loves to learn, work, build, and operate a platform that is transforming software and the developer ecosystem.What you’ll do:Build and oversee Mulesoft infrastructure and trust architecture strategyPartner with product & engineering organization, customers and internal stakeholders to develop and drive MuleSoft infrastructure architecture strategy that supports the objectives of the businessServe as the primary steward and key voice of the infrastructure strategy, communicating decisions and tradeoffs to internal and external stakeholdersBe a Mulesoft Technologies EvangelistEvangelise infrastructure at scale best practices and architectural decisionsRepresent Mulesoft and its infrastructure technologies with internal stakeholders, customers and partnersBe an R&D leaderLead the implementation of the infrastructure architecture strategy, partnering with your architecture team, senior technical leaders, as well as engineering teams to translate architecture into design.Help hire, inspire, and develop the Mulesoft Trust & Infrastructure architecture/engineering team into a best-in-class organizationPromote technical best practicesDrive the Trust & Infrastructure architecture governance model (e.g.
architecture review board, reference architecture(s), standards/policies)Coordinate architecture decisions across all architects within your organizationWork closely with engineering teams to enable highly available architecture at scaleWhat you should have:Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or EngineeringAt least ten (10) years of experience in platform architecture (SaaS, PaaS) with at least three (3) years of experience in a similar leadership roleDemonstrable experience and interest in architecting complex and scalable platform; expert level knowledge of relevant architecture/ design principles and patternsDemonstrable experience delivering cloud-native capabilities on AWS or similar constructs; experience with integrations, automations and API management is a significant plusProven experience and strong desire to lead, with experience leading cross functional architecture teamsAdvanced relationship management and communication skills, including partnering and consulting with senior leaders/C-level rolesStrong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detailPreferred Requirements:Strong understanding of Integrations, Automations and Full Life Cycle API ManagementDeep understanding of cloud infrastructure and environments (public/private) and ability to lead the team through technical challenges in implementationStrong and broad working knowledge of the state of the art in cloud computing infrastructure including: IaaS, PaaS, containers, analytics, data center deployments, and othersStrong understanding of KubernetesAbout MuleSoft, a Salesforce companyOur mission is to help organizations change and innovate faster by making it easy to connect the world's applications, data, and devices.
