AGM Tech Solutions, on behalf of the Client - a Global leader in professional information services, is hiring a Principal AI and Product Software Engineer

4 Days remote - 1 day in Manhattan

Position Title: Principal AI and Product Software Engineer for their for Tax & Accounting SaaS platform

This role is part of the Advanced Technology team in the Digital eXperience Group (*/dxg), which co-creates state-of-the-art products and solutions with company's businesses around the globe. Our growing array of solutions supports the expanding set of Company's Expert Solutions and online product portfolios in the Tax & Accounting domain.

In the role of Principal Product Software Engineer, you will take early ideas and build prototypes, while experimenting with advanced technologies and platforms. You should be willing to take on challenges of unknown dimensions, and work hand in hand with tax experts, accounting professionals, customers, and data scientists to prototype and test early concepts. You will need to have very strong technical skills, deep curiosity, business acumen, and the ability to think fast and act fast.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable AI systems for tax and accounting applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Mentor and coach scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize system performance and reliability
• Experience in AI/ML Ops, deploying and managing machine learning models, and ensuring efficient AI/ML workflows in production environments for tax and accounting applications
• Knowledge of GenAI/LLM (Generative AI/Large Language Models) and their applications in developing AI-driven solutions for tax and accounting software
• Evaluate new technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement and innovation in tax and accounting software
• Innovate and develop proofs of concept to demonstrate the applicability of AI/ML for solving customer problems in tax and accounting domains, in collaboration with product and other development teams
• Collaborate effectively across DXG and Wolters Kluwer with product managers, tax professionals, accounting experts, data scientists, and software engineers
• Collaborate with architects to inform emerging product architecture for tax and accounting SaaS offerings
  
  

Job Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
  
  

Experience :

• 9+ years of experience in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
• Expert in modern development frameworks such as Python, AngularJS, .Net, C#, React, etc...
• Experience as a full stack developer including front-end and back-end technologies, to build user-friendly and performant web applications for enterprise software
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in building Data Processing and Machine Learning Pipelines specifically in Azure, utilizing Azure services like Azure Synapse, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, etc.
• Experience with API design and REST principles,
• Proficient in building GenAI applications using LLMs (Large Language Models) RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns, and similar technologies to create innovative and intelligent solutions for enterprise applications
  
  

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

• Experience in tax and accounting software development is a plus, but not mandatory
• Proven track record of driving innovative solutions for challenges in an enterprise environment
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Ability and willingness to rapidly learn new technologies in the tax and accounting domain
• Strong collaboration skills and desire to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and listening), with ability to build positive working relationships across multiple groups within the organization
• Position is Hybrid remote********
