Position: Pricing Analyst
Location: Austin, TX
Pay: 60K- 70K DOE
Position Summary:
The Secondary Marketing Assistant will support the Pricing Desk with analytical functions such as producing regular reporting, digesting, and disseminating daily loan information, researching data trends and anomalies.
Responsibilities:Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Pricing Desk by determining competitive pricing strategies.
- Review daily data to determine opportunities and make pricing suggestions.
- Work closely with necessary departments to understand capacity and volume goals, recommend strategies that align with corporate objectives.
- Ad Hoc Analysis of Daily Capital Markets Data
- Other duties may be assigned.
Desired Competencies:
- Prior working experience in secondary/capital markets, or lock desk.
- Working knowledge of mortgage loans and an understanding of pricing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong Excel Skills
- SQL knowledge desired but not required
Desired Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years' experience working in the mortgage industry; secondary/capital markets, or lock desk experience preferred.
