JOB QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify for this role, you'll need:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in similar job positions.
• Proven record of leading teams.
• Knowledge in cuisine to create and innovate our menu.
• Proficient in the Prepared Food Industry.
• Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
• Skills in Customer Service, Inventory Management, Leadership, and Training.
• Physical ability to work in high temperature and cold environments (like kitchens, hot food cases, walk-in coolers, and freezers), lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Prepared Food Department Manager in one of our stores, you’ll have the responsibility to:

• Ensure the overall health and success of the entire department.
• Achieve the department’s service-oriented goals.
• Be involved in Hiring & Training, Scheduling, Reviews, and Evaluations of team members. Holding the team accountable.
• Oversee the lead chef.
• Handle product purchasing in partnership with Lead Chef.
• Maintain sanitation and adherence to protocols, following organizational standards.
• Be responsible for the department’s achieving its financial goals.
• Manage the culinary and stewarding teams.
• Be able to cook and give advice to the cookers/prep team if required.
• Implement new initiatives.
