Overview:The Premium Suites Director reports to the Director of Operations. The responsibilities of the position include coordinating suite request, directing Union staff, supervising all Suites, Clubs and Premium events.
This role will pay a yearly salary of $70,000 to $75,000 and is bonus eligible.

This position will remain open until December 31, 2024.
Responsibilities:- Directly oversees all Suites and Club/Premium areas
- Works with the Culinary team and Director of Food & Beverage to reduce food costs, monitor labor, create menus and help to increase profit margin
- Develops and maintains relationships with all clients, internally and externally, including sales orders and customer service
- Responsible for daily sales reports, account receivables and credit transaction control during events
- Provide creative approaches to increase and develop future sales experiences at events by adding event assets, F & B packages, etc.
- Responsible for ordering, receiving and placing inventory for the Suites and Club areas
- Hires, trains and supervises all Suite Servers, Runners, Bartenders and Supervisors
- Develops weekly schedules for all staff and assign locations
- Attends internal event-related meetings and relay immediate changes to other internal departments
- Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Supports, trains and implements company sustainability objectives and goals
- Develops a solid understanding and complies with units Collective Bargaining Agreement: Use of progressive discipline of staff when necessary.
- Understands and effectively communicates OVG Hospitality policies and procedures
- Assists in monthly inventory
- Must be knowledgeable of State and Local Alcohol ordinances and the implementation of these ordinances
- Ensures compliance with Illinois liquor laws and OVG liquor polices
- College Degree, preferably in Food & Beverage Management, Sports Management, Marketing, Business or related field desired
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in management level position in Food & Beverage or equivalent training experience
- Experience in the sports and entertainment industry preferred
- Experience working with union employees and understanding Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred
- Proven abilities to lead and develop staff
- Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
- Extensive knowledge of Quest or similar food service program
- Strong computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
- ServSafe and TIPS/BASSET certified
Computer Skills
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Office Outlook as well as computerized accounting software.
- Desirable experience with EATEC or similar food service program systems.
