Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Pre-Surgical Optimization Program Manager, you will lead the planning, direction, and execution of pre-operative protocols within the Urgent Care Service Line, working closely with the Regional Medical Director team. This leadership role requires overseeing the pre-surgical coordinators and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Key responsibilities include:

You will:
- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise, orient, and train direct reports, including pre-surgical coordinators, ensuring adherence to policies and standards. Foster employee engagement and healthy work environments.
- Goal Setting & Communication: Lead the development and execution of program goals and objectives, clearly communicating expectations to employees and monitoring progress.
- Scheduling & Staffing: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing at all times while addressing performance deficiencies and recognizing exceptional performance.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee activities of direct reports, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery, adherence to protocols, and resolution of escalated patient issues.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop and maintain working relationships with surgical coordinators, surgery centers, and medical practices to ensure seamless pre-surgical evaluations and referrals.
- Pre-Surgical Protocols: Train and educate staff on pre-operative protocols and assist with obtaining necessary outside medical records, lab results, and specialist referrals as needed.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track pre-surgical evaluations, collate results for review, and present metrics to senior leadership to drive program efficiency and decision-making.
- Workforce Strategy & Change Management: Implement workforce strategies, lead operational workflow improvements, and support cultural and mindset alignment activities.
- Patient Satisfaction & Compliance: Promote a compassionate, respectful approach to patient care, ensuring excellent satisfaction while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.
- Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): Actively participate in CQI programs, encouraging employee suggestions and involvement to drive ongoing improvement.
- Physician Support: Provide consultative support to physicians, ensuring optimal patient care conditions and fostering a physician-driven culture.
You Should Have:
- Must be a Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
- 3+ Year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is required
- 3+ Year of experience in the supervision of staff is required
- Data Analysis & Decision-Making: Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to create actionable insights and comprehensive management reports. Proficient in leveraging data for effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Leadership & Talent Development: Proven ability to develop and mentor employees and leaders, drive individual performance, and foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and inclusion. Skilled in team leadership, employee engagement, and cultivating trust.
- Project Management & Communication: Strong project management skills, including task prioritization, resource allocation, and outcome tracking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage diverse stakeholders and achieve results.
- Technical Proficiency & Innovation: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. Adept at identifying opportunities for improvement, driving innovation, and overcoming barriers to success.
