Power Platform & Power Apps Developer - AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Power Platform & Power Apps Developer for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX(Hybrid). The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills and ownership of projects from start to finish while engaging with stakeholders to deliver impactful Power Platform solutions.

 

Rate Range: $70/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Power Platform & Power Apps Developer job responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing Power Apps solutions to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.

• Creating and managing custom connectors to integrate external systems within the Power Platform.

• Managing data architecture, including Dataverse, SQL Server, and SharePoint, to support app functionality.

• Developing and optimizing workflows using Power Automate to automate business processes.

• Implementing governance, security, and compliance best practices, including DLP policies and role-based access.

• Managing multiple Power Platform environments, ensuring consistent performance and access management.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to improve application performance and usability.

• Engaging with business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with organizational needs and goals.

• Supporting application lifecycle management practices, including version control and deployment pipelines.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Power Platform development, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Proven expertise in developing and managing custom connectors and integrating external systems.

• Strong knowledge of data architecture, including Dataverse, SQL Server, and SharePoint.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $73.00 per hour
