Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for testing and compliance verification of power electronic converters for battery charging systems for electric vehicle applications.
- Component- and system-level testing and verification of power electronic chargers and battery management systems.
- Integration, debugging, and validation of charging systems.
- EMC planning and testing.
- UL compliance testing and communication with UL
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in power electronics or electrical engineering, with more than 3 years of industry experience with power converter development.
- Minimum 2 years of experience testing, debugging, and UL compliance verification of power electronics chargers and battery systems.
- Understanding of hardware-mechanical interface as well as hardware-software interface
- Understanding of fundamental analytical equations of power inductors, transformers, and capacitors.
- English communication skill, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master s degree in electrical engineering with more than 3 years on industry experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of charging protocols
- Experience with battery emulator
- Understanding of converter controls specification and design
