Someone who has managed a Power BI environment, creating user permissions, data governance and compliance and strong experience with automation would be a solid fit for this role.

Job Summary:

The Power BI - Reporting Engineer will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive informed business decisions. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other business intelligence (BI) tools. The Reporting Analyst will gather, clean, and transform data, perform in-depth analyses to uncover patterns and trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data-driven insights align with organizational goals.

• Responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, analyzing data to uncover trends and insights, collaborating with stake holders to understand data needs, and translating business requirements into technical specifications to create visualizations that support informed decision making.
• Data gathering and preparation – collection data from various sources, cleaning and transforming data to ensure accuracy
• Data analysis – analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights using statistical methods and data manipulation techniques.
• Performance optimization – optimizing Power BI queries and reports for efficient data processing and loading times.

• Experienced at delivering business solutions, including reporting consolidations, and ensuring business continuity.

• Areas of Expertise: BI Tools: Tableau, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, PBIRS and SSRS, MicroStrategy.
• Data Tools: MS SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, Redshift AWS, OLAP & Cube Development (SSAS).
• Worked as Power BI Admin on service as well admin to various workplaces.
• Created multiple Power Automate flows.
• Created Power BI version of existing MicroStrategy dashboard to begin conversion process to future state.
• Created Power BI Data models by merging millions of records of data from different sources.
