Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for completing the main powder coating process.

Essential Functions
List numerically descriptive functions of the role.

1. Movement of sandblasted Ranch Hand product into the paint booth.
2. Coating of Ranch Hand product following approved procedures and company’s quality standards.
3. Upkeep of coating equipment to ensure daily functionality.
4. Packaging of Ranch Hand product.

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position for 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 5am - 4:00pm; some Saturdays) located in our Ranch Hand plant in Shiner, TX. 

Pay

The starting rate for this role is $16.00/hr. 

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Lift truck operator experience preferred (training available).

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Manufacturing/Industry experience.
