About the Job
Our client, an FAA-certified jet accessory repair station, is seeking a skilled Pneumatic Component Technician to join their team. This full-time position is focused on the repair and overhaul of critical pneumatic components, including complex valves, starters, air cycle machines (ACMs), and power drive units (PDUs). The role offers the chance to work with industry-leading equipment and standards while being part of a highly respected MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) organization known for its excellence in workmanship, quality, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed repair and overhaul of pneumatic components, including valves, starters, ACMs, and PDUs.
- Ensure adherence to strict quality standards, providing precise workmanship on all pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders to ensure proper component testing and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely and efficient repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of repair activities in compliance with FAA and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5+ years of hands-on experience working on pneumatic systems such as valves, starters, ACMs, or PDUs.
- Technical Skills: Must be highly skilled in pneumatic component repair, with a keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Communication: Proficiency in written and verbal English, with strong reading comprehension skills.
- Certification: Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or Repairman certificate is preferred but not required.
