The Mid-level Plumbing Designer/Engineer will be primarily engaged in designing various building projects, such as hotels, apartment complexes, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software.

Job Details
Our expanding Orlando, FL branch is in search of an outstanding Plumbing Designer/Engineer to enhance our team. The Mid-level Plumbing Designer/Engineer will be primarily engaged in designing various building projects, such as hotels, apartment complexes, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing plumbing systems for diverse commercial buildings
- Conducting system design calculations and selecting equipment for building applications
- Generating detailed design documentation
- Writing/editing specifications
- Conducting code compliance research
- Coordinating activities with other disciplines
- Conducting site surveys to assess and document existing conditions
- Providing construction administration support
Desired Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Capability to lead and collaborate within a team environment
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and design principles
- Exceptional work ethic and positive attitude
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office
- Willingness to travel occasionally
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred but not mandatory
- 3+ years of experience in design
- PE/EIT certification preferred but not obligatory
