Plant Manager - Mahle

SUMMARY

Accountable for BU6 MAHLE Aftermarket Plant Operations in order to achieve the performance objectives (KPI's) according to MAHLE Corporate Guidelines and Policies. The Plant Manager provides leadership and strategic direction ensuring the plant properly manages safety and environmental programs, meeting customer requirements with exceptional, on time service and quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development, revision, and support of the Annual & Strategic Plan for the Plant (Plant P&L, capex, headcount, operation expenses). Long range and short-term operational objectives (1- 5-year plans) will be developed consistent with existing sales, projected forecasts, operations footprint and logistics strategy, inventory requirements and other factors involved in the attainment of Company sales and profit objectives.
• Define Plant Objectives (KPI's Operations Balanced Scorecard) by overseeing day-to-day operations to achieve the strategic business plan focusing on capacity requirements, state of the art manufacturing capability, and world-class performance on key indicators.
• Accurate forecasting / planning of operations based on releases to achieve efficient, economical, and timely production and availability of products.
• Achieve the satisfaction level expected by Customers, Suppliers, Government, Corporate, Employees, and the Community.
• Achieve Customer Satisfaction levels (quantity, quality and service) according to requirements and objectives.
• Ensure conformity in manufacturing/operations processes of the product by creating roadmaps in every functional area, including comprehensive analysis and prioritization of key opportunities for the facility. As needed, include and engage cross functional members at all levels of the organization to execute initiatives that will drive sustainable results.

• Manage capital expense budgeting and forecasting efforts through close collaboration with region controlling for each economic plan year.
• Analyze, justify and recommend capital equipment needs and plant expansion (or restructuring) requirements to expand manufacturing capabilities and improve production efficiency.
