Plant Labor - Apidel Technologies

Qualifications:
It is strongly preferred that candidates have previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, and have an awareness of safety protocol.
Safety & adherence to safety protocol are very important at this site.
It is also preferred that candidates are English speaking or bilingual, as safety training and communication is in English.
Candidates must be able to stand throughout the day. This site operates 12 hour shifts, and with the exception of break, they will be standing the entire shift.

May need to lift up to 50 lbs.
Contingent workers will be required to wear steel toe or composite safety shoes/boots.
Environment is not climate controlled. It is an enclosed warehouse. Environment is dusty, as paper is being shredded to be recycled into thermal insulation.

Responsibilities:
Contingent worker will be feeding paper, magazines and cardboard onto a conveyer belt to be shredded. The paper will be shredded to be used to make acoustic thermal insulation.

After resume review, qualified candidates will be invited for an in person interview.
Saturday 11-5PM required.

These positions are temp to perm, based on attendance, performance and ability to work with the team. There is room for growth.
This is a non-smoking site, this includes in your car, if it is on the facility parking lot. Cell phone use is not tolerated, due to safety. Workers provide their own safety shoes, and the site provides safety vest, ear protection, and safety glasses.
