Right?The physicians who want to work with and care for our seniors are a special breed, is this you?The need for physicians working with skilled nursing facilities is growing rapidly, doctors use to be seen as superheroes.The peace of mind you will bring with those seniors you visit is priceless.Well, we need those superheroes NOW!Physicians responsibilities:Performs initial assessment, including a comprehensive history and physical, of assigned participants at intake and at least quarterly in cooperation with family members and/or caregiver and Interdisciplinary Team members.Provides evaluation, treatment, and ongoing monitoring of episodic illness.Refers participants to a medical specialist as indicated with Interdisciplinary Team input.Provides daily oversight of hospitalized participants including providing primary care (attending) responsibilities for management; providing updates to the team; coordinating discharge planning with the Interdisciplinary Team.
