The Physical Therapist will be in charge of evaluating the patient's condition and developing individualized treatment plans for all patients requiring physical therapy. The hospital has a large emphasis on orthopedics, so this Physical Therapist will be a crucial member of the team. In addition, the position requires collaboration and education of nurses and family members with continued exercises and programs to facilitate complete healing. The Physical Therapist will also be expected to communicate patient progress or problems to their supervisor, patient, families, and other team members to better manage care. The ideal candidate will hold physical therapy licensure in the state of Oregon and have at least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in the inpatient or outpatient setting.
The Physical Therapist will report to the Manager of Physical Therapy and feel supported by a team of Rehab Nurses, Physical Therapy Technicians, and Senior Physical Therapists.
