Highline Physical Therapyoffers outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services. We believe in welcoming experts who share our vision, who work diligently, and ones committed to providing the level of care that will help improve the lives of our patients.
We currently have an opening for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at our Fircrest clinic (Tacoma, WA). The PTA will work directly with patients to teach them different functional tasks and exercises intended to strengthen or stretch muscles, as well as alleviate pain.
About our clinic:
Our Fircrest clinic is newly established right outside of Tacoma, WA. This is a smaller outpatient clinic with an opportunity to get personalized mentorship. Our clinic director is an OCS PT, certified in vertigo and concussion rehabilitation, and well-experienced with sports related injuries. Her breadth of experience spans a variety of injuries in a competitive athlete population, including ACL/complex knee surgery rehabilitation, Achilles injuries, and both operative and non-operative rehabilitation of shoulder injuries in overhead athletes. We're looking to expand our physical therapy services.

Position Summary:
• Provide Physical Therapy to patients in an out-patient setting
• Follow individualized care plans for each treatment
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize care

• Utilize a state-of-the-art EMR for documentation, reporting, and data collection
• Comply with all federal, state, and insurance-based rules and regulations
Qualifications:
• Graduation from an approved school for Physical Therapist Assistants
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing with the State.
