Physical Therapist Assistant - Mountain View, CA

Join the Virtus Healthcare Staffing Team! We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our partner, a 101-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Mountain View, CA.

Job Description:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide a wide range of therapeutic interventions to patients with physical impairments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and treatment planning.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to:
  • Therapeutic exercises (range of motion, strengthening, balance, gait training)
  • Manual therapy techniques (massage, mobilization)
  • Functional training (transfers, ADLs)
  • Patient education on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Assisting with patient transfers and mobility
• Setting up and maintaining treatment equipment
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• PTA license for the state of CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
