About the Job
HSAGP(Hyundai-SK America Green power) Energy LLC. is Hyundai Motor Group and SK On' s joint venture company to produce batteries for electric vehicle batteries. The joint venture plans to invest $5 billion to build an EV battery cell plant in Bartow County, Georgia. Hyundai Motor Group and SK On will each hold a 50 percent stake in the joint venture. The new plant created by the two companies is expected to start manufacturing battery cells in the first half of 2026 with an annual production capacity of 35 GWh, enough to support the production of 300,000 EVs a year. The future Bartow County plant in northwest Georgia is strategically located near Hyundai Motor Group’s existing and planned U.S. facilities. Hyundai Motor Group broke ground last year on the new Hyundai Motor Group Meta plant America in southeast Georgia to make future Hyundai, Genesis and Kia EVs. Summary
The Physical Security Senior Specialist is responsible for implementing the physical security and administrative security aspects of the information Security Management System.
This position need to develop and enforce physical security policies, conduct regular security assessments, respond to security incidents to ensure in maintaining a secure environment, safeguarding facilities, assets, and personnel.
This role requires strong English language communication with other employees, both in written and verbal form. As there are security needs to be addressed for the entire site including office, manufacturing, and construction environments, this position will be requires to perform the work in all these environment.
Key Ares of Responsibility
Security Policies, Procedures, and Protocols Development
- Maintain and develop security policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Train employees in security best practices and procedures
- Create regular publications to promote security awareness
Security Assessment
- Conduct security assessments and surveys to identify vulnerability, threats, risks and recommended improvements.
- Respond to external and internal security audits
Physical Security System Management and Security Activities
- Manage all aspects of the on-site physical security contracts including Guard, Security Maintenance
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the organization's premises, including buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, to detect and deter security breaches, suspicious activities, and safety hazards
- Manage security guards, contractors and third-party vendors providing physical security services, ensuring adherence to security standards, protocols, and performance expectations
Security Incident Response
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, including disturbances, medical emergencies, fires, and evacuations, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and ensure safety of occupants
- Collaborate with law enforcements, emergency responders, and other security professionals to coordinate responses to security threats, incidents, and emergencies, and provide assistance as needed
- Conduct investigations into security incidents, thefts, property damage, and policy violations, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and documenting findings for further review and action
- Complete detailed reports, logs, and incidents documentations on security activities, observations, and incidents, and maintain accurate records for review and analysis
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field experiences
- 7+ years of relevant experiences
- 2+ years of managing physical security systems
- 1+ years of experience managing contract security guards (or lead a team of guards experiences)
- Knowledge of physical security systems including technical equipment (ACS, cameras, sensors, etc.)
- Security-based certifications is recommended (i.e. CPP, PSP, CISSP)
- Ability to write policies, guidelines and procedures at a professional level
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
