Evening Shift: 2p-10:30p

The primary responsibilities of our

Phlebotomy Service Tech

are to collect and label specimens for testing, maintain computerized records, resolve and troubleshoot outstanding specimens/collections. In addition, practice universal precautions, barrier protection methods, infection control and isolation procedures when working with body fluids and other contagia to ensure a safe work environment. This position is required to escalate issues, problems, and opportunities to supervisory level for resolution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Prefer 2 years relevant phlebotomy experience with Phlebotomy certificate preferred + Basic computer skills with ability to type minimum 35 words per minute required for clinic based positions and preferred for Hospital based + Basic medical terminology and customer service skills expected.
