Position Details:
- Working Shifts:
- Varied between 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM depending on the Health Center location.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Accurate preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Manage medication inventory, packaging, labeling, and organization.
- Handling administrative responsibilities associated with pharmacy operations, including record-keeping and processing patient profiles.
- Commit to delivering excellent customer service while respecting patient confidentiality and maintaining professionalism.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Active Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB or ICPT.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a pharmacy technician role.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth understanding of pharmacy practice, medication management, and drug interactions.
- Strong command of mathematics, proficient use of computer applications related to the field.
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities, with fluency in English.
Physical and Medical Specifications:
- Must meet physical and medical standards requisite for the scope of pharmacy technician duties.
