We at Fairview Pharmacy Services are looking for you to join the largest health system based specialty pharmacy in the nation as an entry-level Pharmacy Technician Services Representative. We hire individuals without experience in the pharmacy field and train within our in-house pharmacy technician program!
This is a full-time, day/evening shift M-F position with weekend rotations. It is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We offer competitive pay and benefits and the opportunity for advancement through our progressive career ladder or with adjacent teams.

This position provides telephone support to pharmacy patients, providers and pharmacies ensuring that patients are eligible for and receive prescribed medications in an accurate and timely manner via appropriate delivery methods. This includes patient tracking, customer service, issue resolution and/or escalation
Responsibilities Job Description
In this position you will improve your skills customer service abilities and gain new pharmacy technician skills while helping patients navigate the complex world of pharmacy prescription set-up and processing. Responsibilities include:
+ Complete intake process for mail order pharmacy patients including insurance verification, and medication refill and delivery schedule.
+ Under the direction of the pharmacist, receive prescription/orders from patients, process manually or using the appropriate computer system and protocols in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency and Fairview requirements.
Qualifications
Required :
Experience :
One-year customer service experience.
License/Certification:
Ability to become registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
Completion of an on-the-job American Society of Health-System Pharmacist (ASHP) accredited pharmacy technician training program within the first year of employment. (We provide this!)
