Job Overview
Insight Global is seeking a pharmacist technician to join a dynamic healthcare team for a contract role. In this position, you will collaborate with a team to fill medication orders in accordance with policies, while developing proficiency in advanced preparations. One will assists pharmacists by accurately processing prescriptions, preparing and packaging medications, and providing excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving insurance issues. They manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular checks to ensure availability. Pharmacy Technicians ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, maintain accurate records, including for controlled substances, and support billing and insurance claims. Additionally, they assist with administrative tasks and uphold a clean, organized workspace.

Must Have:

• 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacist technician
• Experience in a retail environment or ambulatory (e.g., Walgreens,CVS)
• Knowledge of insurance claims adjustment (verifying insurance, submitting claims, resolving issues)
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team orientation
• Pharmacist technician license

Pluses:

• Previous experience in outpatient or specialty pharmacy
• Familiarity with McKesson EnterpriseRx for pharmacy workflows
• Experience with EPIC
