Job Summary:
This position supports and assists the Pharmacy Account Services and Leadership teams in meeting the service, retention, and growth objectives of large and key accounts. The Account Coordinator works under the direction of Moda Pharmacy Account Executives or leadership team members. This is a hybrid role based in Portland, Oregon.
Pay Range: $22.88 - $28.60 hourly
*Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience specializing in pharmaceutical benefits management, health insurance and/or marketing, sales, underwriting or math.
- 2 years pharmacy and/or health insurance industry experience, preferred, as it relates to funding, terminology, billing, customer service, and benefit plan operations.
- Demonstrates relationship building skills and can work well in a team environment.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize to meet established deadlines.
- Ability to communicate client and member interests and needs to internal project teammates to improve workflow processes.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and clients related to the provision of services designed to retain existing accounts.
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Presents a positive and professional image in the community
- Maintains confidentiality and projects a professional business image.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Maintains a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Ability to be self-directed and work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
- Ability to handle a pushcart/hand truck and can lift boxes up to 30 pounds in and out of a car trunk.
- Provide back-up support for Pharmacy Account Services teammates and Pharmacy leadership as requested.
- Act as a liaison between various internal departments and Pharmacy Account Services teammates when they are out of the office.
- Respond in collaboration with the pharmacy Account Executive to written and oral inquiries from clients and consultants/brokers to research and problem solve service issues with appropriate internal departments/team members.
- Coordinate and participate in the review of monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports, and ensure delivery to client and/or broker/consultant in contractually required timeframes.
- Gather required data from other departments or external sub-contractors to compile and produce contractually required reports (i.e., performance guarantees, explanation of audit, etc.) and ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Triage and record invoices from external sub-contractors and route for signature. Work in coordination with accounting department to ensure payment.
- Oversee analysis and identification of root causes of complex service issues for clients and broker/consultants; directs dedicated functional experts (accounting, customer service, pharmacy operations, etc.) on corrective action steps to ensure end-to-end resolution of the issue.
- Coordinate the design and development of non-standard client materials, open enrollment materials, member guides, Q & As and other customized marketing materials.
- Coordinate, attend and assist Pharmacy Account team with client enrollment presentations and represents Moda at benefit and wellness fairs.
- Accompany Pharmacy Account team members on service calls with clients to represent Moda and explain program value and address client requirements and needs.
- Support department by preparing training materials including writing new and updating existing User Procedure Manuals, as assigned.
- Triage and coordinate requests for legislative reviews as directed by the Pharmacy leadership or as requested by clients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
