Pharmacist at Parkdale Pharmacy

Location: Parkdale Pharmacy, NY

Schedule: Part-time (Fridays only), 9am – 7pm.

Job Description: Parkdale Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis, working full days on Fridays (9am – 7pm). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Responsibilities:

• Review and execute physician’s prescriptions while checking their appropriateness and legality.
• Ensure medications are stored properly and pharmacy environment is organized.
• Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
• Manage medication inventory and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid Pharmacist license in New York State.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school.
• Proven experience as a retail pharmacist.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems and electronic health records.

• In-depth knowledge of drug administration and health & safety guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Compassionate and patient-focused with excellent advisory skills.
