 PHARMACIST – PER DIEM (PRN) COMMUNITY HEALTH MAIL ORDER PHARMACY

Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC; is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist for our Community Health Pharmacy in Colchester, VT. We are looking for a compassionate and flexible Pharmacist to join our team at Community Health. Prior retail pharmacy experience ior mail order is preferred, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment. Current/Clear VT Pharmacist licensure required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Under general direction, ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for the pharmacy; dispenses prescribed medications; may provide functional supervision of support staff.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree, or Pharm. D, from an approved school of pharmacy
• Registration by the state of Vermont board of licensure.

Experience:

• One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.
2. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
3. Knowledge of polices and regulations pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.
4. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
5. Ability to supervise and train assigned staff.
6. Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements (if applicable).
7. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
8.  Ability to assume essential responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
