Pharmacist - Pride Health

Position: Licensed pharmacist

Location: New York City, NY 10011

Duration: 3-month contract with extension possibilities.

Shift: Day shift - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (M-F)

Pay - $85-$90/hr

Job Summary:

• The Pharmacist Level 1 serves patients by preparing medications; giving pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care teams; and monitoring patient drug therapies.

Job duties:

• Dispenses medications accurately and in a timely fashion
• Resolves questions regarding formulary and non-formulary medications, following policies and procedures
• Provides dosing and therapeutic recommendations that take patient age/kinetic based on literature.
• Provides dosing and therapeutic recommendations that take patient age/kinetic based on literature. Performs patient education, including but not limited to, proper dose as prescribed, taking meds on time, side effects if any, and interaction with other drugs patient might be taking, all as per department requirements.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy (ACPE).0-2 years as licensed Pharmacist
