Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Associate Attorney with a focus on Personal Injury to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload from start to finish, including negotiation, litigation, and trial, with the support of a robust team. Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of personal injury litigation cases, from investigation and pleadings through trial, settlement, and appeal.
2. Handle a wide variety of personal injury cases.
3. Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue motions, and engage in discovery.
4. Consistently engage with clients to update them on case progress, answer their questions, and ensure their satisfaction.
5. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense attorneys.
6. Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and perform other related legal duties as required.
7. Collaborate with our team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the best outcome for our clients.
8. Represent clients in court, advocating on their behalf and presenting evidence to support their case.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Attorney in personal injury law.
4. Proven track record of successful negotiation, litigation, and settlement of personal injury claims.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and team members.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
