Our well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager (File Manager) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a keen eye for detail, and has a deep understanding of the legal processes involved in personal injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume case load, providing top-notch service to our clients, and working collaboratively with our attorneys to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of personal injury cases from the initial intake through resolution.
2. Communicate effectively and regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and the legal team.
3. Gather, analyze, and organize medical records, accident reports, witness statements, and other evidence.
4. Coordinate and manage medical treatment for clients and obtain necessary medical documentation for the case.
5. Prepare and submit demand packages and settlement proposals.
6. Negotiate with insurance adjusters to reach settlements that are in the best interest of our clients.
7. Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and databases.
9. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or a similar role in the legal industry.
2. A deep understanding of personal injury law, medical terminology, and the litigation process.
3. Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage a high-volume case load effectively.
4. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
5. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for our clients.
6. Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. A detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
