HR Sucks by Gameday HR is our media brand for our podcast, newsletter, and social media channels. Our podcast achieved over 2M impressions in it's first season back in 2020, and is gearing up for a relaunch in 2025.

Personal Assistant
Our CEO has recently relocated to San Diego and is in need of local support. This position will report directly to the CEO.
This is a part time (starting 10- 20 hours, but ability to grow to full time), hourly position with our fast-growing brand. We have cultivated a professional, but friendly atmosphere where respect and communication are highly valued.
What You Will Do:
Executive Support
- Calendar and inbox management
- Social Media messages management
- Partnering with CMO for social media, podcast, and marketing content management such as recording, editing, and posting on various platforms.
- Email and mail correspondence, such as checking PO Box
- Client support through HR related administrative, auditing, and researching tasks
- Project management using Notion and/or Asana - ensuring CEO is ahead of project tasks and deadlines
- Meeting preparation - ensuring CEO has reviewed and prepped for upcoming meetings
- Travel arrangements
- Coordinating vendors
- Client invoicing and follow-up
- Administrative tasks for TV development such as research, talent outreach, and correspondence
Personal Support (until House Manager has been hired)
- Weekly meal planning for family of 6 (and 1 dog) including groceries list + shopping (not prepping).
- Personal errands such as dry cleaning, tailoring, car washes, taking dog to the groomer
- Occasional school pick-up
- Scheduling personal appointments
- Purchasing gifts
- Additional tasks as normally expected for this position

- CEO's Business and personal objectives achieved
- On-time delivery of CEO projects and deadlines
Qualities and Skills to Succeed:
- Punctuality
- Excellent Time Management Skills
- Social Media Savvy
- Google and Gmail Workplace experience
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
- Resides in San Diego
- Comfortable with hybrid working schedule
- High level of spacial reasoning - ability to see problems before they come
- Ability to nurture and build relationships
- Preferred: Experience with Notion and/or Asana Project Management
