Performance Tester - Mastech Digital

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Performance Tester for our client in the Consulting domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

Salary: $37.00-$43.00/Hourly

Role: Performance Tester

Primary Skills: Testing

Role Description: The Performance Tester must have 3+ years of experience. 

Qualifications:

- Developing performance test scripts that replicate real-world usage patterns and workload profiles using LoadRunner.

- Customize the Performance test scripts using Java or C in LoadRunner.

- Identifying Test Data parameters for the selected application Performance test use cases.

- Identify the test data volume requirements and find the test data preparation strategy.

- Execute load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing, to simulate different types of workloads and test the performance of the application or system.

- Creating performance test reports and presenting them to stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.

- Developing and maintaining performance testing scripts and scenarios for future testing cycles.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
