About the Role:
One of our top clients is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join their dedicated team. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will provide comprehensive oral healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents. Your primary responsibility is to create a positive and welcoming dental experience for young patients while ensuring optimal oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Conduct thorough oral examinations, including assessments of oral development, tooth eruption, and potential dental issues.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and misaligned teeth.
- Perform preventive dental procedures, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Administer dental treatments, such as fillings, extractions, and root canals, using age-appropriate techniques and sedation when necessary.
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary guidelines, and preventive measures.
- Clinical Operations:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to ensure a clean and sterile environment.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as orthodontists and pediatricians, to provide comprehensive care.
- Teamwork:
- Work effectively with dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to provide efficient and high-quality care.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the practice.
Qualifications:
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.
- Valid state dental license.
- Strong clinical skills and a gentle bedside manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children of all ages.
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care.
