Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing
- Manage bi-monthly payroll processing using
- HR/Payroll Support
- Act as a key support within the HR and payroll team, addressing inquiries and assisting with daily operations.
- Onboarding and Training
- Participate in a structured training schedule, working
- Data Management
- Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure payroll and HR processes align with applicable labor laws and company policies. Conduct audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in HR and payroll, ideally within financial services.
- Hands-on experience with Paychex Flex is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Knowledge
- Familiarity with labor laws and payroll regulations.
Interpersonal Skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Detail-Oriented
- Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
