Lingo Staffing is currently looking for a Bilingual Payroll Specialist in the Oklahoma City area!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while also assisting with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions. The Payroll Specialist will occasionally fill in for the receptionist and provide support to the HR and benefits administration team. This position requires a candidate with excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Pay: $19 + DOEHours: 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee earnings, deductions, and tax information.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll and timekeeping.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting to reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records for AP/AR processes.
- Answer and route incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide exceptional customer service when covering for the receptionist.
- Manage mail distribution, office supply inventory, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist HR with benefits enrollment, updates, and employee communications.
- Support new hire onboarding processes, including paperwork and orientation logistics.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee records.
- Proven experience in payroll processing and AP/AR functions.
- Familiarity with payroll software and accounting systems; experience with ADP is preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
