Job Description:

• Utilize payroll software to accurately and promptly calculate and process employee payroll
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations by verifying hours worked, overtime, and deductions
• Promptly address employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related discrepancies
• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents, securing necessary approvals for payment
• Execute electronic payments in adherence to payment terms, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers
• Maintain precise records of payroll and accounts payable transactions, conducting journal entries and reconciliations
• Reconcile payroll and accounts payable accounts to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Prepare month-end and year-end reports and support financial audits as necessary
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including withholding, reporting, and remittance requirements
• Accurately prepare and file payroll tax returns and other statutory reports within designated timeframes

Process Improvement and Efficiency

• Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and accounts payable processes, enhancing overall efficiency
• Recommend and implement process improvements, automation solutions, and best practices to boost accuracy and productivity

Required Skills:
