Are you a seasoned payroll professional looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to oversee and manage the payroll functions of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely pay processing in compliance with Government regulations.

Compensation
- Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000 annually
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generating bi-weekly or monthly payroll for multiple entities, including domestic and international operations
- Updating payroll records for new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments
- Submitting 401k information to the vendor
- Supporting the CFO with monthly commission accruals, calculations, and payments
- Managing and filing state and local sales and use tax returns and payments
- Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations and best practices
- Keeping accurate and detailed payroll records and reports
What You’ll Need to be Considered
- 8+ years of extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of general ledger, and general bookkeeping skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise-level payroll software
- Experience with direct deposit administration, e-filing employment tax, and W-2 administration
What Could Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, HR, or related field
- UKG software experience
